One Shape Leads to Another

And so it goes, until you think you have finished.

Here is a sequence of shots that help show how my most recent painting has developed. The pictures speak for themselves really, but with this one, perhaps because it was the first after the Christmas break, I was a bit slack and created one or two bad (corner) areas that needed blocking out before I could continue. Sometimes the 'cover ups' don't solve the problem and the picture goes off to the tidy tip, but I like what happened here.
