Pochade Progress

I have been out sketching with the 'pochade' box mentioned in June - in our garden and at the allotment, both a bit challenging for their complexity and range of colour. I have enjoyed working with the oil paint - its lushness and shine (and the smell).

To keep things simple, broad and immediate, I've only used two brushes - large and small, plus a bamboo toothpick to scratch in a few lines, and lots of rags. There's quite a bit more to learn, but it's working.
